Snow, what snow? Shame this snow didn't occur the 1st part of April. Sure would have made a great "onion snow".
It would have been one of a heck of a Onion Snow. That phrase brings back memorys. I can't wait to tend to my weeds, I have the best thoughts in that little garden. I can take up a entire day watching testing and tending to just a few plants. Thinking ,dreaming ,pondering and wondering. Learning , loving ,giving, taking and sharing. Yeah ,a "onion snow" would be very cool.

What is an Onion Snow never heard the phrase but sounds interesting?
RE: Snow, what snow? Ing Google it, Its a local snow, late in the year, like the poster said right around onion planting time.
I read it very interesting that I have never heard that phrase since it is related mainly to PA. How much snow do you get? One of my girlfriends near Brownsville had no power and no heat.

I measured 10.5, the River trail (1/2 mile away) measure 13, so its pot-luck with the numbers. The numbers are different from valley to valley. The "onion snow" is very thin, most of the time 1/4 inch( & under), a "crusting."
I'm heading to the Burgh,I've hear 17 inches. I'll bring back video gossip for yens .:)

The Burgh was Cool. I measure two cars one had 25 inches the other 29, granted I measured with my Multi-tool(+/- 2 inches). The roads are solid ice, but there are not trees so it's all on the ground. Its ten times better here, Fayette Co. Rocks!
We are not out of "danger" yet. As it gets warmer in the day then cold at night the snow turns to water ,then ice . It re-clings to the trees and bushes, with a good wind of 20mph- more trees will rip down power lines. The longer the snow hangs on the trees and bushes the weaker they get. Check out tall hedges and ornimental trees, most have colapsed. Out of the dozen or so Evergreens I inspected, 11 were covered in ice 1/4 inch and snow 8 inches.Watch the tops of "Pine trees, if it turns down and sags like a old night cap,its coming down.

I know what you mean Kodak, people ruin everything for some stupid reason or another... They want to ruin other people's television because they can't seem to monitor their own. Just like the woman who sued MC D's for her kid getting fat, she bought him the stuff! Its ridiculous anymore.

Isn't it sad how people ruin things? I read that some big advertisers didn't even advertise this year because of the liabilities. How can a fun commercial that might be a little distasteful, but is funny have liabilities!
